CONSOLIDATIONS
BECOMING ONE
A Consolidation is the opposite process of a Subdivision. It involves combining two or more lots into one parcel of land, and hence, one Title. In order to do so, again as with a Subdivision, either a Deposited Plan, Strata Plan or Community Plan must be prepared by a Registered Surveyor for lodgement to the NSW Land Registry Services (NSW LRS).
The Process
- Discuss purpose and scope of Consolidation to determine cost estimate
- Conduct calculations to redefine boundaries
- Prepare Deposited Plan for Consolidation
- Create easements and restrictions (if necessary)
- Lodge above documents to Local Council, Bank & NSW LRS for registration
