Set-Out Surveys, otherwise known as peg-outs, are used to determine the position of a proposed design for fences, buildings, boundaries and civil infrastructure. They define the legal boundaries within a given parcel of land and are an important step before the commencement of any construction work.
Once key points are established, markers are put in their places to direct a construction team on where they can build. As Registered and Licensed Land Surveyors, NSW Land Services are qualified to provide and approve a Set-Out Survey.
