As one of the final steps of the construction process, NSW Land Services’ Registered Land Surveyors will carry out a Work As Executed (WAE) Plan. A Work As Executed Plan is required by local council to ensure that the build conforms to the approved design. It compares position and levels of roads, footpaths, staircases, detention tanks, sewer, stormwater and other infrastructure.
The Process
Discuss purpose and scope of WAE Plan to determine cost estimate
a. Request stamp stormwater plans OR
b. Conduct calculations for existing drainage and draft WAE Plan
Visit site and perform field WAE Plan
Check and sign-off on WAE Plan (by Registered Surveyor)
Release WAE Plan in electronic PDF format
